Developing Front Line Managers
This program focuses on the basics of management, starting with performance objectives and communicating expectations. It addresses action plans, accountability and the reporting that flows from the performance objectives. Feedback and delivering negative messages links directly to reporting and accountability and movers the program to the coaching skills required for effective feedback. This includes basics of emotional intelligence. The critical component that follows is the series of case studies and exercises dealing with management basics – delegation, training, hand-off, organization, priorities, follow-up, participation, customer focus, dealing with stress, people problems, managing time and priorities.
